In 1950, Bishop Liston established the Catholic Church of Meadowbank as
the National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima. In 1950’s up to 1970’s there were many Marriam Festivals that was celebrated here in Meadowbank. Presently, we try to revive these events. For these past four years, the parish have Rosary, Novena Prayer and Mass every Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm. In May we have been celebrating Marian Festival by reciting the Rosary, Novena followed by Mass and procession for nine days prior to the Date of the Festival. Please see our parish calendar. The Marian Festival is on in the month of May coincide with the first apparition of Our Lady to Jacinta, Lucia and Francisco in Fatima, Portugal.
We encourage you visit the National Shrine to give homage to the Mother of Our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Please feel free to participate and get involved in the life of the National Shrine. Call the office or send an email lofatimaparish@gmail.com.
God Bless

Each year our parish offers First Holy Communion and Confirmation for our children.
If you are thinking that God is calling you to serve Him in the Sacred Orders, you need to pray and discern this calling that is nagging you. A practical advice to discern is to:
Pray and attend Mass as frequent as you can.
Sacrament of Matrimony (wedding/marriage) is a wonderful gift of God to a couple who are discerning to be faithful to each other. Willing to give each other their total commitment and fidelity. The couple could celebrate this in a Sacred Ritual given by the church. Please approach the local priest or send an email to the priest if you intending to enter to a sacred relationship.
Please provide you baptism and confirmation certificate
The Mass of Christian Burial is the primary celebration of the funeral rites. This Mass celebrates our belief, as Christians, that death is a passage to a new life and, ultimately, to resurrection and eternal union with God. The resurrection is the theme that is reflected in the readings, the hymns and prayers.
